STACY
CODIKOW, Founder & Executive Director,
is an award-winning feature film producer whose credits
include UNDER THE HULA MOON, starring Stephen Baldwin;
FATAL INSTINCT, starring Michael Madsen; HOLLYWOOD HEARTBREAK,
starring James LeGros; BLACKOUT starring Gail O'Grady,
and LONELY PLACE, staring Academy Award nominee Tess Harper.
Codikow
began her career as a producer's coordinator on the Emmy
Award-winning series, CAGNEY AND LACEY, after graduating
from the University of Southern California's School of
Cinema. At age 24, Codikow established CODIKOW FILMS to
produce independent features.
Codikow co-wrote the made for cable thriller VICTIM OF
DESIRE, “Cycle of Violence” for the NBC series
PROFILER and “Alias Smith and Mr. Jones' for the
PAXNET series TWICE IN A LIFETIME.
In 2001 Codikow executive produced Jamie Babbit's short
STUCK that was awarded Honorable Mention at the 2002 Sundance
Film Festival and won the Planet Out Awards. Codikow executive
produced Angela Robinson's short D.E.B.S. that was an
official selection of the 2003 Sundance Film Festival,
2003 Berlin International Film Festival and won the Planet
Out Awards. Codikow was Co-producer of the Screen Gems
feature film D.E.B.S. that premiered at the 2004 Sundance
Film Festival. In 2003 Codikow executive produced Colette
Burson's LITTLE BLACK BOOT that was an official selection
of the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. In 2004 Codikow executive
produced Jamie Donahue's BILLY'S DAD IS A FUDGE-PACKER
that was an official selection of the 2005 Sundance Film
Festival.
In 2003 Codikow received the LACE Award from the Los Angeles
Gay & Lesbian Center for her contributions to the
gay community in an extraordinary way in the field of
Arts & Entertainment.In 2004 POWER UP received the
Leadership Award from the National Gay & Lesbian Task
Force.
LISA THRASHER, President of Film Production & Distribution
Thrasher
produced POWER UP’s first feature film “Itty
Bitty Titty Committee.” Thrasher
also produced: “Billy’s Dad is a Fudge-Packer,”
starring Robert Gant & Alex Borstein; “Prom-troversy”
starring Jane Lynch; “Starcrossed,” starring
Marshall Allman; “Memoirs of an Evil Stepmother,”
starring Jane Lynch; “The Nearly Unadventurous Life
of Zoe Cadwaulder,” starring Melanie Lynskey; “Intent,”
starring Holland Taylor and “Little Black Boot,”
starring Jane Lynch & Dania Ramirez. “Billy’s
Dad is a Fudge-Packer” and “Little Black Boot”
were Official selections of the Sundance Film Festival.
Prior to joining POWER UP, Lisa
was in the Intellectual Property Department of Fox Group
- the parent company over 20th Century Fox, Fox Broadcasting,
Fox Sports and all other Fox entities for the five years.
She worked in conjunction with the Motion Picture Association,
Sony, Universal, MGM, Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros.
to bring civil and criminal cases against individuals
and businesses worldwide, and on the Internet, who were
illegally profiting from the studios' motion picture films.
Lisa worked for California
Lawyers for the Arts where she assisted artists and filmmakers
in protecting their own work and avoiding the infringements
of others'.
Thrasher served as a Short
Film Screener for the SUNDANCE Film Festivals. Thrasher

both Capetown & Johannesburg, South Africa.
